Terms and Conditions
Age Requirements The minimum age is 21 and all named drivers must have held a valid licence for at least one year. Booking Information A valid credit card, your driving licence and passport will be required at the time of booking. Cash is not accepted. Fuel All cars will be supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank, otherwise refuelling charges will apply plus an additional fee of €10. Rental Period The minimum rental period is 1 day. Traffic & Parking Fines Fines resulting from traffic and parking violations during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter. Insurance The rental prices include full insurance. The renter however is still responsible for the first €750 of any damage caused. Collision Damage Waiver insurance is available on request. Insurance Waiver Insurance does not cover damage to wheels, tyres or the underside of the car, nor does it cover damage to the interior e.g. cigarette burns and stains. Theft of personal belongings from the hire car is the renter’s responsibility. Delivery & Collection Cars are collected and returned to the office. There is no charge for delivery or collection to Kardamyli or Stoupa. There is an extra charge of 0.35 per klm for delivery and collection elsewhere. Baby Seats Available on request. €5 per day. Taxes All prices are inclusive of 19% VAT. Crossing Borders/Ferrying Traffic Information The crossing of borders and ferrying is only allowed with previous written authority from Tsoumeas Rent A Car Procedures In the event of an accident the renter must: Telephone and wait for the police Obtain names and addresses of eye witnesses Obtain all relevant information from third parties Contact our office Complete and sign any relevant reports
